Hi there! My name is Hira, it’s nice to meet you. I am a 19-year-old studying Neurobiology living in California. I also plan to pursue a Master’s in Bioengineering. I love exploring new places in my free time, whether it be new coffee shops or hiking spots. I love photography, and currently am learning how to play the ukelele!
I am a strong believer that experiences can impact a person’s drive and compassion for others. For me, I wanted to start a blog for a while but never knew what I could do to give back to my community—until now.
From a fairly young age, I had to learn how to become more independent. Because of my experiences and mistakes, I have now understood what I wish I knew while balancing multiple parts of my life as a teenager, a woman, a Muslim, and more. I want this platform to be a place where I can give some insight on things I have learned that I would have liked more guidance with when entering different stages of my life. I also want to share some of my own personal creative outlets with you. Hope you find some tips that are useful to you!
Sincerely,
Hira
What I do
College Life
I am an incoming junior transferring to a four-year university. I started community college early while I was in high school and worked part-time to fund for my first two years. I hope to work within the biotech or bioengineering field!
Hobbies
I absolutely love exploring new coffee shops wherever I go. I hope to learn how to do some latte art myself sometime soon! I also love listening to podcasts and reading to learn more outside of my career in my free time.
Health
I got into weight-lifting during high school, and it has done so much good for me! I also love trying to make new recipes based on what I have in my pantry. Definitely a work in progress, but I love learning more and more.
Want to collaborate?
